ذكذكتسئµ celebrates LLB and i-LLM graduation ceremony

Students from ذكذكتسئµ’s LLB, LLB CEL, i-LLM programmes have graduated in a special ceremony held at Church House, Westminster.

Nearly 80 graduates attended the ceremony, accompanied by their friends and family. Dame Fiona Woolf, Chancellor of ذكذكتسئµ, presided over the ceremony, giving the opening speech and congratulating each graduate individually as they took to the stage.

Dame Fiona, a partner at , told the audience how she was able to progress in her career because of her willingness to “say yes and try new things”. She advised the graduates to adopt the same attitude, with the encouraging words: “The world truly is your oyster.”

Lord Blunkett, Chairman of ذكذكتسئµ, also addressed the graduates, saying: “We’ve never been through so much enormous change. The work you do will be a stabilising force in the future.”

The graduates had collectively studied in seven of ذكذكتسئµ’s centres across the UK, including the LLB CEL students who studied the University’s dual degree LLB delivered in partnership with IE University, Spain.

Two of the University’s tutors were also awarded for their outstanding work. Melanie Williams of the Guildford Centre was named ذكذكتسئµ Teacher of the Year 2016, while Patrick Hubble of the Leeds Centre won The Student Association Annual Teaching Awards Best Overall Teacher. Both winners praised the hard work and dedication of their colleagues in their acceptance speeches.
